If you own a Motorola XOOM 3G/4G or a HTC Rezound, according to a post on reddit by an anonymous poster who claims to work for Verizon in “some capacity”, the highly-anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is expected to be headed your way come 23rd of April and the 9th of May respectively. According to the post, soak tests for both devices have apparently begun and have supposedly ended for the XOOM, but oddly enough there aren’t any XOOM users who have reported receiving a notification about an impending soak test to date. NDA perhaps? In any case it’s pretty easy to make such wild claims so we will be taking this with a grain of salt for now, but keep your calendars marked for the 23rd of April and the 9th of May and we’ll see if the rumor pans out.
